Street Car # 23 Visitors to Nelson can take a ride on this historic street car for only $2. #23 is the only car remaining from the original tram system, which was destroyed in 1949. The Glass House This unusual house was built in 1952 from more than 500,000 discarded embalming fluid bottles. The beautiful grounds feature flower-lined pathways and a bridge also built with glass bottles. Daily tours of The Glass House are available from May to October.
