Cody Caves Provincial Park
Located high above Ainsworth in the Selkirk Mountains, Cody Caves Provincial Park has an underground stream that flows over a kilometre through ancient limestone. Underground tours with an interpreter are available.

Gilnockie Provincial Park
Located east of Creston, Gilnockie Provincial Park is only five miles from the US border. The park has a day use and picnic area, and hunting and fishing are permitted under Fish and WIldlife regulations.

Kianuko Provincial Park
This 11638 ha park, which is used by the Ktunaxa-kinbasket First Nation for spiritual and traditional purposes, protects alpine lakes and meadows as well as the headwaters of Kianuko Creek. Home to caribou, moose and grizzlies, the park is popular for fishing, hiking and horseback riding.

Goat Range Provincial Park
Goat Range Provincial Park is one of British Columbia's more important parks, as it helps protect the only natural spawning site of the unique "Gerrard" rainbow trout. It also protects grizzly, mountain goat and woodland caribou habitat. The park offers opportunity for wilderness camping, hiking and fishing. Due to the ecological significance of the park, visitors are encouraged to use low-impact techniques while visiting Goat Range.

Christina Lake Provincial Park
Christina Lake Provicial Park is a popular summer destination with 350 meters of sandy beaches and a lake that has a summer average temperature of 73F. Water recreation is the parks most popular activity, but hiking is also afforded. Plenty of parking is provided.

Johnstone Creek Provincial Park
Open from May to September, Johnstone Creek Provincial Park consists of Douglas fir, Ponderosa pine and aspen forest. A short hiking trail with three viewpoints, which include benches, is available. Steep cliffs lie beyond these viewpoints so it is not recommended to hike any further. There are 16 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Granby Provincial Park
While it is a popular spot for hiking and fishing, Granby Provincial Park is one of the least-visited wilderness areas in BC, is hard to access and offers no facilities. Home to the only rainforest not located on the province's west coast, the park is an important habitat for mountain goats and grizzlies.

Kokanee Creek Provincial Park
Hiking, fishing, boating, and camping is all available at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park. There are two campgrounds in the park, and a boat launch is located near the eastern park boundary. Picnic areas and changehouses are also located here.

Creston Valley Wildlife Centre
This impressive 17,000 acre wildlife habitat is home to 265 species of birds and many other types of wildlife. It is accessible 24 hours a day all year long. There are opportunities for birdwatching, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing. Their is also an Interpretive Centre (open end of April to Thanksgiving) that offers a good selection of wildlife activities and informative programs that cater to all ages.

McDonald Creek Provincial Park
McDonald Creek is a fine park for all ages, as it features swimming, canoeing and a sandy beach for sand castle building. There are also grassy meadows to explore. Sites for tent and trailer campers are available.

Yahk Provincial Park
Situated on the shore of the Moyie River just north of the BC/Idaho border, Yahk Provincial Park is small, measuring just 9 ha. Recreational activities at the park are limited, but visitors can fish and camp. 26 sites are available and basic facilities are provided.

Burton Historical Park
Burton Historical Park is located just south of Nakusp, and overlooks scenic Arrow Lakes. Campsites are available here, and there are fire pits with firewood provided for free. There is a boat launch, and fishing, swimming, and hiking are all offered here.

Gladstone Provincial Park
This large park in the Selkirk foothills preserves Kokanee salmon spawning areas, winter range for deer and elk, and low-elevation old-growth cedar and hemlock forests. Christina Lake, one Canada's warmest and clearest lakes, has beaches, a boat launch and salmon, trout and bass fishing. Texas Creek Campground is 12 kilometres east of the townsite at the end of East Lake Drive. 32 kilometres of trails. Open year-round; amenities are not available in this wilderness area.

Conkle Lake Provicial Park is a secluded little spot 25 to 30 km outside of Greenwood. The spot is so secluded that it is not easily accessed by small vehicles, motor homes or trailers. The park has just over 30 camping sites and offers a quiet, serene vacation. Fishing, swimming and caneoing are popular. |

Boundary Creek Provincial Park
Boundary Creek Provincial Park is home to the historic site of the BC Copper Company that once employed 400 men in the early 1900s. There are basic amenities in the park, so campers must be self-sufficient.

Nakusp Waterfront Japanese Garden is one of two gardens in the area that celebrates Japanese Canadian community. Pine, juniper, hazlenut, kinnickannick, and other native plants are grown here, and the gardens are full of Japanese maples and flowers.

Wilderness camping is permitted within designated areas of Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park. Angling is permitted in the parks waterways and lakes, and there are extensive hiking trails throughout the park. Cross country ski trails are open in the winter months.

Monashee Provincial Park and Protected Area
Eye-catching greenery, polychromatic wildflowers and sparkling lakes are all part of Monashee Provincial Park. Some of the oldest rock formations in western Canada also lie in this park. Climbers and scramblers will appreciate Mount Fosthall and Slate Mountain. There are day use areas, and backcountry camping is permitted.

Rosebery Provincial Park
Located on Wilson Creek along the east side of Slocan Lake, Rosebury Provincial Park is a good spot for fishing. Visitors will find rainbow trout and Dolly Varden in Wilson Creek and rainbow trout in Slocan Lake. There is a campground with 33 sites in the park.

Located in the Kootenay's, West Arm Provincial Park spreads out over 25,319 ha (acres) and is mostly undeveloped. Potential activities include hiking, water sports, canoeing, kayaking and skiing. Wilderness camping is permitted but there are no facilities.

Jewel Lake Provincial Park
Measuring 49 ha (121 acres), Jewel Lake Provincial Park contains its namesake lake which is 3 km (1.8 mi) long and contains Rainbow Trout. Activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and ice-fishing. There are campsites available but facilities are limited to water, firewood, pit toilets and picnic tables.
