Silver Ledge Hotel Museum The original hotel was destoyed by a fire, and in 1896 the Silver Ledge Hotel was rebuilt. This is the bulding that houses the Silver Ledge Hotel Museum, which is still furnished as it was during it's heyday of the thirties and fourties. The Nelson Museum The Nelson Museum has several exhibits showcasing the history of the area. There are community history exhibits, art exhibits, and a pleasure boats and memorabilia area, featuring the legendary Ladybird Speedboat. The Ladybird was raced for over 25 years, and in 1933 established a record speed of 68 miles per hour. The Nelson Archives and Historical Society are also located here.
