Gladstone Provincial Park This large park in the Selkirk foothills preserves Kokanee salmon spawning areas, winter range for deer and elk, and low-elevation old-growth cedar and hemlock forests. Christina Lake, one Canada's warmest and clearest lakes, has beaches, a boat launch and salmon, trout and bass fishing. Texas Creek Campground is 12 kilometres east of the townsite at the end of East Lake Drive. 32 kilometres of trails. Open year-round; amenities are not available in this wilderness area.
