Toad Rock Campground
This motorcycle campground welcomes all campers. Features include hot showers, flush toilets, laundry facilities and a large social pavilion with a pool table. Covered shelters are available in treed sites. Alternative cabins are also available. Directions 1/2 way between Balfour and Ainsworth Hot Springs on Hwy 31 BC.

Kokanee Creek Provincial Park
This provincial park offers 168 vehicle/tent campsite and 100 sites are reservable. Featuring a kilometre of sandy beaches, an adventure playground and nearby marina. Other amenities include a boat launch, extensive beach area and walking/interpretive trails. On Hwy 3A, a 20-min drive, 19 km east of Nelson or take the Kootenay Lake ferry form Crawford Bay to Balfour. From Balfour it’s another 15 km to the park.
